Are
you an Insurance Company?
No. Our quote
comparison system accesses the databases of our bike insurance partners
in real time to check the details provided by you against their own
bike
insurance data to provide an accurate quote. The same check is
conducted with over 15 motorbike insurance company databases. We
check insurance brokers as well as single companies.
Is your quote
service independent?
Good question! Our biggest competitors
are not! (Admiral owns Confused.com; RBS runs Tesco Compare; esure
underwrites Gocompare). This means that you are getting a truly
independent service when you use us.
Do
you charge a fee or commission which is added to my premium?
No. We are paid a small fee if you get a
quote but that is paid from the insurance company profits, not by you.
In other words, you pay exactly what you would for your bike if you
went
directly to the motorbike insurance company yourself.
Is
the price you find the price I will pay?
The price we get is taken directly from
the insurance company database in real time. It therefore should be
what you pay. Occassionally bike insurance companies change the price
before updating their database that we check. Under such a circumstance
you may have to pay a bit more. This would be unusual.
Are
the insurance companies you work with all reputable companies?
Yes. We only work with trustworthy FSA-registered companies. They are
all well-established companies, with a good track record.
What
happens if I change my mind?
Most bike insurance companies will charge a cancellation fee, but if
you
cancel before the policy is due to commence, generally there is no
charge. Check with the bike insurance company itself.
