Car Insurance Review

Please
note that this is our Confused.com car insurance review. If you want to
review current Confused.com car insurance quotes, please use our
'Confused.com Car Insurance' link above.
Based in Cardiff, Wales, and launched in 2002, Confused.com was the
UK's first ever car insurance comparison site. Part of the
Admiral Insurance Group, with its offices not far from the Admiral
Group's HQ in Cardiff, Confused.com has faired less well than younger
rivals over recent years and is now the nation's fourth most popular
price comparison site.
There being around 28 million cars on our roads, that's still a lot of
business, of course, and the competition has forced them to raise their
game and improve the information they provide to consumers. With each
quote generated by the Confused.com quote system, there is now plenty
of policy features data included, allowing for a better informed choice
of car insurance.
Recent TV advertising campaigns have featured the wild-haired
Confused.com cartoon character 'Cara' pumping out promotional lyrics to
the tunes of well-known pop anthems, a style which clearly takes its
lead from the successful Gocompare ad campaigns.
According to Confused.com Marketing Director Mike Hoban, their latest
ads have been associated with an increase of 2 million in their
customer numbers.
Perhaps as a consequence of their ad campaign, this site has seen much
greater use of the Confused.com quote system than previously, while
there is also a trend for motorists to use price comparison sites more
as car insurance prices escalate.
Car insurance has doubled in price over the last three years and this
acts as a powerful incentive to motorists to compare car insurance
prices from numeorus providers via major price comparison sites
like Confused.com.
The above Confused.com car insurance review, although believed to be
correct, does not take account of any changes that may have occured
since the review was written.
