Ladies Car Insurance at the Car Insurance Supermarket

If you
want to buy women's car insurance right now, we would
recommend going to our article on women's
car insurance in our
'Buyers Guide' section that offers
the most useful advice on this.
If you want ladies car
insurance in the UK, there are various companies that cater
specifically for women only cover. We've worked with the major
providers of woman motor insurance in the past, but have dropped them
all as they failed to compete
favourably with the other services listed here.
Indeed, this illustrates an important fact, which is, that ladies car
insurance providers may not offer the best deals and that going to a
'general' car insurer or price comparison system may provide a better
price.
Of course, price is not everything, given that, obviously, the cheaper
insurance products include less and exclude more in their ladies car
insurance cover. Women drivers, too, vary in where they choose to place
themselves on the spectrum from very cheap but limited cover, through
to expensive but more comprehensive cover.
Even if you are somewhere in
the middle of this spectrum, going direct to a top ladies car insurance
company (something people have never wanted to do here) or a top direct
insurance performer here such as M&S car
insurance (popular here) can be a good choice as rock bottom priced
policies are often
of questionable value when a claim is needed.
Our site statistics here would seem to suggest that those looking for
ladies car insurance (i.e. women) are less interested than men in
finding the absolute cheapest price; which, dare this male writer say,
is a more prudent approach to buying ladies car insurance, or indeed,
motor insurance in general.
That is not to dismiss price comparison services for ladies car
insurance altogether, however. The only requirement, an imperative in
our view, is to make yourself fully aware of the policy inclusions and
exclusions in advance of purchase. So doing often leads you to select
the quote a bit further down the list in price (i.e. slightly more
expensive than the cheapest quote) in order to meet your minimum cover
requirements.
It does pay to consider carefully what your minimum requirements really
are. It is always tempting to buy the cheaper product with an "I'll
probably never need to claim" attitude. But, like it or not, accidents
occur; so it makes sense to approach this from the perspective of "What
will I want when I claim?" It seems that when it comes to ladies car
insurance, women are way ahead of men on this issue.
The links at the foot of this page will help you to select the services
you need. While the process can be completed quickly, it is wise not to
rush it, so remaining ignorant of the true extent - or lack of it - of
cover provided.
