Independent UK Insurance Price Comparison Sites

In our efforts to continually improve the service we offer to our visitors, we have now added a list of independent UK insurance price comparison sites.

The best known on this list is Gocompare.com who have a loan from esure (owned by HBOS) which if it cannot be repaid will result in esure being paid back in Gocompare.com shares. The management team of Gocompare are keen to point our that this affords esure (and Sheilas' Wheels, also HBOS) no special relationship and that Gocompare remains truly independent unlike notable others such as Confused.com (owned by Admiral) or Tesco Compare which is RBS-run ( as are Churchill, NatWest, Norwich Union & Privilege) and, of course, Tesco also has its own insurance brand.
