Since we introduced our one-form price comparison service, most of our visitors have been using it to find cheap car insurance quotes. Much fewer of them are choosing to go direct to a specific car insurance company.

Of those who do, Marks and Spencers Car Insurance was our biggest selling car insurance in June,  followed by Churchill Car Insurance.

Our other price comparison site partner, Gocompare, continued to have a solid month, with a continuation of cheap car and home insurance quotes being acquired via their service.

Our 'non-car' one-form insurance services (home, bike, van) have also gained steady  momentum throughout the month.

The pattern is very clear - and indeed is noteworthy for Direct Line that does not work with Price Comparison sites - insurers that do not work with Price Comparison Sites will undoubtedly loose business.

While we recommend our price comparison service to our site visitors, it is worth remembering that it does not check all insurers. Indeed using it in conjunction with Gocompare is a good idea as there is very little overlap between our two insurance company  panels.

Of those who remain keen to choose their insurance themselves, none made use of our help page with the latest Which Magazine independant research to inform their choice. This report includes our navigation bar to help people click through to the best insurer for their insurance category. It should prove useful to anyone who decides to use it in the future!
